Katherine M. Tucker is an Australian actress and voice over artist from the beautiful state of Tasmania.
An avid traveller, Katherine loves to be out on location and enjoys travelling to different states and countries for interesting projects; "I seek to find roles and productions that I'm passionate about bringing to life!"
Originally a theatre-trained actor, Katherine has a keen love for Shakespearean and period productions and relishes the intellectual aspects of live theatre.
She has performed in various live musical and theatre productions in Melbourne, Los Angeles and throughout Tasmania since she was young, and has been acting in screen productions across Australia, America and England since 2016. More recently Katherine delved into Voice Acting, which has been fascinating and freeing experience that she adores.
A classically trained actress, Katherine sought out training in multiple acting techniques from studios in Australia, the US and UK; including Meisner, Alexander, Stanislavsky and Sensory. She also received her Bachelors of Performing Arts from Monash University (Melbourne, AUS) in 2016, and a post-graduate degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (Los Angeles, USA) in 2018 where she gained much more knowledge and experience in acting techniques and the accommodations necessary for movement between stage, screen and voice over acting.
Katherine's favourite roles she's played to date are Velma Kelly (Chicago the Musical), Lydia Bennet (Pride and Prejudice), Helena (A Midsummer Night's Dream) and Mel (For Your Protection).

Recently...
I hope everyone is staying as safe as they can during this time! Please take time for self-care and don't take unnecessary risks as we begin to unlock around the world and greet each other once more.
Katherine M Tucker is branching out into Voice Over work during this period of isolation and is enjoying it greatly!
In 2019 she performed in A Night On Earth, her second British film in England, UK, where she played a young woman struggling through both a literal and figurative dark night.
Previously, Katherine was pleased to be part of a beautiful story by the name of In Their Eyes, a touching depiction of a woman struggling to care for her mother in the late stages of dementia.
This film was made to create awareness around the disease and the struggles of those suffering, both patients and carers.

Fun Fact:
"Growing up I performed as a singer in choirs and community productions, but it wasn't until I was 11 years old that I actually acted for the first time!
Of all productions, my first real step into acting was a Christmas production about Snotty the sickly elf who, feeling alienated by Santa's other helpers, tries to ruin Christmas before seeing the error of her ways.
I had originally auditioned for a minor role, but was ask to read for, and then ended up being cast as Snotty. I remember feeling very overwhelmed with the amount of lines I had to memorise, and how Mum and Dad helped me read through the script every night and even recorded it for me to listen to as I slept." - Katherine M Tucker
